Arthur's Mini Super is the definition of a hidden gem! It's a cute, small spot perfect for chilling and unwinding. Whether you’re grabbing a drink, a light snack, or a few essentials, it’s super convenient if you’re in the area. The aesthetics are always on point—retro-inspired with a modern twist, creating a cozy and vibey atmosphere. It's the kind of place you pop into for a casual hangout and leave feeling refreshed. Highly recommend if you're around Sea Point and want something low-key but full of personality!
A delightful wine bar that has quickly become my favorite place for a few drinks and breakfast or lunch. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and fun. Generously sampling wines to those who ask advice and offering guidance to find what you are looking for or even something new. A great mix of classical and naturally -fermented wines on offer at reasonable prices. Nice street-view bar and cafe tables outside make it a great people watching spot with a definite vibe that varies from night to night- but always great even when quiet. I definitely recommend Arthur’s as I’ve never had a single complaint and it’s always a lot of fun.
This place is one of the best spots in Sea Point for food anytime of the day, especially a late breakfast or a hot toasty on a cold winters day. Reccomend the Ruben its a must have. Great service allways friendly
Pretty awesome little spot a real gem, only problem is you have to order at the front and sometimes there is a line and space can be limited. Food is really good and a wide variety of breakfasts and toasted sandwiches!!! Burger was good but more like an old school tasting burger and their sauce options are great!! Their wine options are really top notch, bought an orange wine which is hard to get around Cape Town.
There's a reason these guys have such high ratings and I'd 1000% give it to the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and proficient. It makes for a lovely experience, good food, and great vibes. Love coming in the morning for a relaxed breakfast and latte. They get busy but things still move at a fluid pace. Love their BLT, the chicken sando is also good, def recommend one of their toasties, and honestly you can't go wrong. They made standard breakfast food well.
The most intimate and neighbourhood friendly cafe and wine bar in Cape Town! A real gem where you instantly feel a part of the Mini Super family with the warm and attentive service. The menu is constantly changing per season, so there is always something new to try. The wine offering is unique and carefully curated offering interesting low intervention natural wines. The shelves are stocked with the Western Cape’s finest offerings. If you are visiting Cape Town, and you haven’t gone yet, you haven’t properly seen Cape Town! They even have a new co working space in the back courtyard for digital nomads, which is super affordable, so you don’t have to be surrounded by people on laptops while you meet a friend for lunch! 5 stars all round for delicious food every-time and a vibe like no other!
Lovely little gem in Sea Point!! Fantastic staff and a very cozy atmosphere. The coffee was great, and food even better. The no laptop policy in the front is a very refreshing sight, and the patrons love to make conversation with you. Would highly recommend as a lunch spot.
a great spot for brunch or aperitifs. Remember to order at the counter before you take a seat. The wine list is excellent: local independent wines that you won't find in mainstream restaurants
